Blog #3 - How Far She Went

The story employs a third person limited point of view that shifts from the granddaughter to the grandmother.  Find two passages from the story where the use of this point of view is particularly effective in characterizing the granddaughter and grandmother as well as their relationship. (1 paragraph)

  1. With this method being used it allowed the reader to fully grasp both characterless with out much interaction between them. It did not feel as if you were looking down from above at pawns in the story it felt like you were over there shoulder. It was a much easier way to fully connect with the characters you felt as if you were there next to them living their experiences and feeling there pain. Wether it was the cemetery the road the swamp or the garden you felt them you knew who they were and how they felt and you were immersed in the story.
