Blog #7 - Perks of Being a Wallflower
After watching an art film with Mary Elizabeth Charlie says: “The movie itself was very interesting, but I didn’t think it was very good because I didn’t really feel different when it was over.” (p. 124) Do you agree with Charlie that in order to be “good,” creative works must make you feel differently? How did you feel after reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower? (2 Paragraphs - Use quotes from the book.)

I somewhat do agree with what Charlie said about movies, that yes movies sometimes do make me feel different, the movie got into my heart deep into my feelings, but only really good movies ,the affective ones.
ReplyDeleteSo yes Charlie is really correct that yes a movie does need to be good to be affective and make a person feel different.
After reading the perks of being a wallflower I did feel different in a way, It touched my heart but it didn't make me feel extremely different, but yes I did feel like I somewhat connected with Charlie and the whole book itself, knowing that everyone suffers in a way and have their own problems in life.
The book made me have many emotions at the same time because it is just such a good and such a heart warming book.
